ASACP Represented at Webmaster Access West

LOS ANGELES — ASACP CEO Joan Irvine will be attending Webmaster Access West, which will take place May 17-19 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, Calif. WAW also will distribute information on ASACP to all attendees

"ASACP works diligently to be a valuable resource to webmasters," Irvine told XBIZ. "By offering a Code of Ethics, recommended Best Practices, and the Restricted To Adults — RTA Website Label, we can help webmasters protect children and protect their business at the same time. WAW provides an avenue to introduce ASACP to new webmasters and we appreciate that opportunity."

Webmaster Access West is a business-to-business event that offers seminars, special events, and networking opportunities for webmasters offering straight and gay-interest websites and other adult Internet professionals.

“We are very proud to be a supporter of ASACP in their efforts to protect children online and share their work with the webmaster community," said Shelly Riley of Webmaster Access.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
